About a typical photo shoot…

Before the Session

My style has been described as intimate, modern and artistic.  My goal is to capture candid and natural personality and the intimate moments you may share with others.   You’ll be reminded of what a special person you are and of the special relationships you share with your friends and family.   We will work together to pick a place that both means something to you and has amazing natural sunlight.  By using an outdoor area for you session, we will be able to use natural settings to enhance your photographs!  But be mindful that with the wonderful outdoors comes heat or cold, bugs, and wind.  So come prepared and be ready to move and change with your surroundings!  We will discuss what the objective is for the shoot and how it will be organized.   We will discuss props and clothing choice and how to create the effect that you have in mind.  I love accessories, so being as many accessories as you can get your hands on. (Hats, gloves, flowers, necklaces, bags, scarves, and anything that showcases your personality)  These things may be unpractical in real life, but in a photograph they are perfect.

During the Session

Your session fee for up to 5 people is $75.00 (check out my pricing page) and will last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes.    Once we start the session, I will direct you as to where to stand, sit, and  look to make the photo look candid or posed.  We will create the effect that we previously aggreed upon and even try some new ideas while we are there.  It is very important to bring water and appropriate clothes for the weather to the photo shoot. (And don’t forget your accessories!)  Try to have fun and relax!  After all,  you are making lasting memories!  If you have more than five people to be photographed, we will discuss additional fees.  I require payment at the end of the photo session.  I accept cash, money order, or personal check made out to myself.

After the Session

Within approximately two weeks I will have edited 25-30 of your best images and put them on a cd.  I individually edit each image to create the look and feel that we previously have discussed.   I will then call you and we can discuss how we can meet or how I can get the cd to you.   You will have unlimited use of the photographs and I will use some for advertisement on my website.
