What a fun day in Anthem Park!  This family had so much fun riding bikes, rolling down the hills, and checking out the waterfall.  And, of course, I had fun capturing their wonderful time spent together as a family!  I was only assisting on this photo shoot so I was unable to get an altogether family shot, but I was able to try and capture the intimate relationships between the family members.

While photographing these two I felt like I should have some good ol’ Garth Brooks playing.  It was fun getting in the cowboy mood and trying to capture what was important to them.  On one of their photos, I placed them in front of his grandfather’s old truck.  The truck had been in the family for years and although it doesn’t run anymore it sits on their land, holding all those precious memories. 

This family was so fun to photograph and these girls were so close.  Luckily we were on an awesome farm with so many colors and textures to choose from.  I had so much fun being creative and thinking of new and different farm tools to use as props!

You can tell that this couple’s realtionship is as fun and loving as the day they got married!    They taught me that sweet nothings and laughter is the secret to a lasting marriage.

This is my little shortcake who just happens to love strawberries.  These photos were taken in my front yard and on my porch. A great photographer will use any resource or location available to make the shot work.  The red in these photos stand out vividly because of the complimentary green plants and neutral cream of the dress.  It is wonderful that she is so photogenic!  I didn’t have to take very many pictures because they were all turning out so well.  Lookin’ Good Shortcake!”

I love the springtime in Glendale, Arizona! It is warm enough to take your baby to the park, lay in the shade and snap some photographs while relaxing in between. I love taking relaxed photos, especially with children who are so photogenic. Special thanks to my cute little guy who let me hover around him with the camera while he was trying to take a break.
